Nice fin action jupiter 6-28

Headed out with my gf and her parents , was a nice day out there. Tried for cobia early in the am with no dice. Started hitting the patches in 515-550 for fins , was catching keeper schoolies for an hour then went out further to find some bigger fish. Didn't find anything so I came back to the same patches, there was many boats working them all day. Put out some live sardines and got a decent bull, and it wasn't to easy with all noobs on the boat. I had to fight it and gaff... I stuck him with the first gaff and he ripped it right out of my hand, tried to back down on floating gaff but key falls out of ignition , meanwhile I'm fighting fish the whole time. Bust out my back up gaff and got em . Fun day . Tight lines folks
