Plans for the 4th?

duckmanJRduckmanJR Posts: 20,925 AG
So, what are your plans for the 4th?...

I have my whole family (Children & grandchildren) coming to visit..... a large crowd.
With 6 granddaughters under age 8.... I made sure to nail down my " Worlds greatest grampa" position by having a bounce house with wet slide delivered on Thursday eve so they will be going to the Parade...BBQ and fun in the back yard all day...then go watch the fireworks.
There are many roads to travel
Many things to do.

I will be in Greece on Tuesday with about 15 Belgians watching the USA Vs Belgium match in an Athens bar. I have my USA gear all ready.

On the 4th I will be in Ireland where I am hosting a July Fourth BBQ at my parent's home. The tablecloths, flags, t-shirts, etc. are all packed!
Maybe if we tell people that the brain is an App, they will start using it.

You should ask the OP what he was referring to.

    Don't know, don't care.

The wife said something about friends coming in town and renting an apt or something on the beach. Last time I saw her idiot friend I felt like slapping her so I don't care. Maybe I'll take the boys to honeymoon island or something while she sees her moronic friend.

You did see where it is $10.00 per head didn't you? For hot dogs that is a fair price. In fact the $10.00 covers more than the food because money from it is donated to a local charity. The $10.00 is entrance and dogs beer is extra

    Nice try however.

We're not really "planned"...other than I have to get my boat to the water super early since BOTH ramps in Sebastian are closed in the morning for the parade down Indian River Drive.... A quick fish...then beach the skiff and meet the Fam to watch the parade...then home to relax ( as much as an old man with 6 little screaming kids in a slide bounce house can ) May do Chinese food so nobody has to do any cooking...might burn some steaks...we'll see...

Usually I stay well hid, but may go to a couple of fireworks shows. One in Cedar Key, one in Suwannee.
