Colorado is experiencing a boom due to weed ( was talked about on TV night before last)...Other states are going to see that and be falling all over themselves to get on board.
That's not a good enough reason for FlorIDIOTS to legalize it.:banghead
Studies have shown that Florida's unique environments will produce and provide outstanding product,in fact key competitive aspects!Chamber of Commerce will toke....er,excuse me.......will take........ center stage in main stream promotion and accommodation efforts.

Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink

To the tune of maybe as much as 40 million per year in tax income.
Lots of Floridians could you some relief on account of all the old snowbirds.
We have more tourism than them. I am sure many tourists will partake in the devils lettuce if it were legal here. If we legalize herb for recreational use it will also increase tourism.
Economists know, read "know", not believe, we would crush it. We're the 2nd most populated state and our metro areas Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando and Miami alone draw from a larger consumer base that is more than double the entire population of Colorado. Combine that with our tourism (Orlando is consistently either the most or one of the most visited cities in the US) and the fact we have no real extended weather issues to deal with that keep people from driving into towns to shop like Colorado, it's a no brainer. We'd bring well over 100 million in tax revenue alone.
I think Florida will lag far behind though...too many facists still in power and people are convinced marijuana is the devil. Flabbergasting to me how people can be ok with getting drunk, smoking cigs and growing themselves and their kids to be as big as houses on a steady diet of sugar, all things that together cost our society billions, but are unmovable in there views on marijuana.
On a related note...Good weed was $30 a lid back in the day... LBs were $155..... Now with it legalized...will it be nice and cheap? rotflmao:rotflmao
Supposedly, the black market will be the cheaper way to get it because after all the taxes and regulation fees are added up, the cost will surely be passed back on to the consumer.

Good!...I like danger...BUT
Won't you get better grade weed at the pharmacies?
There are many roads to travel

I was thinking that the geneticly engineered stuff could be boosted potency. I'm sure the heavy duty stoners will have good bud (they always did before) ... but was thinking that when the flood gates open...the horticulturists will really be making some powerful stuff.
