Chokoloskee?

Hey guys me and 3 of my good fishing buddies have a trip planned for next weekend was just wondering what the conditions have been like and what the fish activity has been we are launching out of the island park and marina like usual and are just looking to have a good time like always. Any info is good for me to know what to expect main targets are gonna be trout but I don't really care what bites just looking to be brought up to speed a bit as far as water conditions and activity. Thanks in advance and if you don't want it to go public you can PM me. I'll be in my freshly redone Jon boat if you see me out give me a shout

Trout are any where you find grass and very agressive.Snook and redfish action has been pretty good also. Had 2 trips last week 3 people each day limited out on trout and reds both days by noon.

That's Awsome I appreciate the tip I'm looking forward to that steady trout bite. Any tips on the reds as far as what they have been eating mainly?

Been doing well on trout still, as mentioned before anywhere you see grass patches there should be trout around! The trout bite always seems better for me on the higher part of the tide over the grass flats! Water conditions are good, clean semi clear water throughout most the area from rabbit key down to bird key! Redfish have been responding good to jigs as well as cut bait or finger mullet too if you can net them so plenty of options!
