Desert (Mormans) Property Acquisition is Moving Forward

I was doing some research today and based on the Gulf and Bay County Property Appraiser websites Desert has purchased much of the land that was owned by St. Joe. It appears St. Joe is definitely holding on to Strategic lands for future development.

Yes, I think it was setup back in October and the final dealing was pushed through recently. I remember about 10 years ago I was building for Arvida/St Joe and they made a shift from the real estate business to the land development business. This seems to be inline with that plan. Most of the property sold to the Mormons is NE Bay and Calhoun counties I believe.

I am still confused as to how JOE is still leasing some of the property for hunting..?
