Boat thieves on Lake Jessup!

I'm sure this is the wrong forum, but I just had to vent. Last Sunday morning some jackasses stole one of my father's old boats that was in the water in front of his house. My father is an 80 year old man that was raised on the north side of Lake Jessup, and his father had a fish camp there. To be honest it really wasn't much boat. Just an old 15 foot flat bottom that was missing more parts than not, but it was his. Its faded black on the outside an blue on the inside. I hope whoever stole it has a severe reaction to the fiberglass that you always seem to get on you when you touch the sides. It had a camouflage 6 horsepower Johnson Evinrude probably made in the late 70's early 80's. I guess it was an old rental motor, because you can still see the number 5 through the paint on top . It had his trolling rack on the front, and several cane poles that he trolls with. They got his binoculars and his tools too. I'm sure it's gone for good, but I just had to put it out there in case anybody has seen it. As a 5th generation Floridian, I'm just **** disgusted with what this place has turned into. Well believe it or not. The bastards came back and tried to steal his other boat Thursday night. We know they came in by boat and not by walking down the shore. When he found his boat Friday morning it was pointed straight out, with the anchor rope as tight as it could be. He anchors his boat kind of parallel to the shore. He's always used a massive salt water anchor to tie up the stern, and it was dug into the mud pretty deep. They made too much noise this time, and the dog got after them. I will try to find a picture so I can post it.

That's a shame to hear maybe be should put up a camera to catch them in the act truth be told its probably someone that runs the lake often
