That was a comment by a reporter. I'll rephrase, I've seen no official statements stating when or if he will be on the baseball team once he has met his obligations. School rules do not have a required suspension.

I don't give a crap about him taking the crab legs if he was just an ordinary student, but he represents FSU as a national championship winner and ALL of college football as a Heisman winner. He needs to grow up quick and show some pattern of responsibility. He might not articulate very well but there is some intelligence there to run Jimbo's offense as well as he did. Someone needs to knock some sense into him and it needs to be Jimbo.

This is a post that I can 100% agree on. Longhaul & Dupe seem to think that he has an IQ of 70? Jameis is actually a very intelligent person, and sometimes the smartest people do the DUMBEST things. Pretty common actually...

Heisman's should be reserved for seniors. For any kid to be kept in checked he has to have the feeling that he is expendable to a certain degree. Jamies is just an example of this. He has been put on such a pedestal, he know's they'll never let him go. He's still a kid, he hasn't matured to the point to be able to handle all that attention. It could ruin his career both on and off the field.

Sad, just way to much put on at too early of an age.

Martin didn't have a choice in the matter. He had to suspend JW until he completes community service. Jimbo would have had to do the same if it was football season.
