Servati, a 21-year-old junior and a member of the UA swimming and diving team, died at DCH Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained when a retaining wall collapsed on him in the basement of a home on 22nd Avenue. He and his girlfriend were taking refuge from the storms when the wall collapsed.
"John Servati died a hero. Held up a concrete wall long enough for his girlfriend to get out from under it before it collapsed again on him.
