Could not find anything on the FWC Website regarding bonita so I would guess they are an unregulated specie. But, I'm not a FWC Officer who would be writing you a summons if my opinion was wrong, so why not go here http://mygovhelp.info/FLFWC/_cs/site.aspx, click on "Contact Us" and send them an e-mail
From page 5, paragraph 3 of the above; "...possession of more than 100 lbs. per person per day of species with no established bag limit is considered commercial harvest."
The last page from the above link (page 24) indicates which species which may not be commercially harvested and/or sold in Florida. Bonito is not listed.
