Happy Easter from the ENP

Went out Easter morning with a couple of buddies from work. Got on plane out of choko just before 7 and started running south. First spot was invaded by about 6 juvenile sharks. Hard to tell at that size what species 100%. A few charged some flies but no takers. Moved on to the next spot to find 6 snook. One being 32, 29 then the rest 18ish to 24ish. Moved on from there got a stout 27 inch red. Then a 4 1/2 ft sawfish on a plug. We landed it safely removed the plug and released it with both parties being unharmed. That was my first time hooking/ landing one. I've seen one before in the 10k. Then a mix of under and slot sized trout and jack. All in all a great Easter on the water. I only have a picture of the 32inch snook the other fatty is on the gopro.

My buddy also got his first saltwater fish on fly. It was a monster lol. be7u6a8a.jpg

Yea the sun killed us. I was looking forward to some sight fishing but the sun didn't come out until like 3:30 and it was still in and out of the clouds. They water was decent where we were. I can't wait for these fronts to stop so the tarpon will show themselves.
