I don't believe in tipping. I believe in over tipping. Always have.

Hey guys, me and my cousin were debating yesterday about how much to tip out barbers. I explained to him the tip amount varies depending on situation. Usually 20% of a bill.
But what would you guys tip in these situations:

$15 haircut at the barber I give her $5
$30 bill at dennys or steak and shake I don't eat there but 15-20% pretax
An employee replacing 4 tires at a independent tire shop None
Pizza delivery guy Always pick up.

This would kinda give me a better understanding and might save me some money by not extra tipping
    .

Covered but usually a sheer or see thru top. She knows what she has and how to work it. I'd rather pay her $75 every two weeks than pay some hard tail barber $25

But she looks like a Farm Girl with a size 12 ****.
Still got the accent but a Sheer top would be like starin at a dairy herd.

Yea, I may be odd but I like women. I don't think I have been to a "barber" since I was in the service and that was a long time ago.

I am in a position where appearnce is important, you know, suits every day, highly polished shoes, silk ties etc. I don't like it but it is part of my job and looking forward to the time when all this isn't necessary. Heck, I'll save a fortune on clothing alone.

I envy those who can dress more causally.

Perhaps that isca difference between a "barber" and a "stylist".

there isn't but one barber shop in my town, but a lot of "stylist"....
at my barber shop, the barbers are a mix of men and women...
a lot of guys come in with their wives, daughters, and they both get spuced up...
it's a family place so the conversations and language are modified somewhat to take that into consideration...
a hair cut is $15 but i usually leave a $10 tip....just getting my beard trimmed right is worth it...

Right? If I had money like that, I would have never bought my altima. I would have went straight to a hummer. $60 would last fine for 2-3 weeks.

Yes I am a dude and I get my hair cut every two weeks unless I am on vacation or out of the country. The lady who cuts my hair actually reduced the price due to my frequent visits. She normally charges $65.00 and is worth every penny, if I am unable to nake it to her shop she will come to my house.

How much of the $60 is for the cut and how much is for the perm?
