Nothin' wrong with a D300, nice gun. Personally, I like my D90 more than my D7K, but that is probably just me.......due to familiarity. I bought the D7K mostly for video. If you do buy a D7K, or about anything that comes next purchase a huge card because the files, whether *.jpg or RAW are H-U-G-E!
