Boat storage

Does anyone know of a good place to store a 17 foot boat around Port canaveral/ cocoa beach? Like a long term storage. And what is the average price of storage? The marina I checked at said $200 a month, but it was a marina with direct access to the water so I don't know if I am paying just for location... Any help is appreciated!

I hate this saying "that's a tough question". That being said if you are looking for service ie. rack storage, water for cleaning, non ethenal fuel, fish cleaning tables, and security then a marina is what your looking for but you will pay for it. Another issue is usage I guess you will be river fishing and nearshore fishing. If that the case Harbortown Marina off the barge canal. If just looking for a place to park your trailer go for a secure location. For me security and convience is important and I pay the extra for that. Good luck!

Most of the year i can only get out to the coast about once a week so a marina isnt really worth it, but during the summer when i fish every couple days i will definately be putting it at a marina. Most of the time i will just need a secure parking spot for the boat on the trailer.

I store my boat in Cocoa right off US1 and close to the 528....10 minutes to the port. My boat is close to 30 feet over all...and I pay 60 a month...24 hour access.

I store my boat on Merritt Island - gated, lighted, water, access 5am to 9pm - $50 a month. Been there for 5 years. All graveled & they have video cameras. IM for more info and I'll see if they have any openings available.

They have have water, but I have never used it. They have power in some of the spots, and I charge my batteries all the time. It is like 3 miles north of the 528/US1 on the west side of the road.
