I'm not sure I agree with this. So what I see here is that I can post a thread to stir folks up...and then just say delete it?

Is that a rule that the OP can ask that their thread be deleted?

A long standing rule at that.

    I did remember that.

I don't really agree with that. I can make negative and unsubstantiated comments about a person or company. After everyone piles on I can just say "delete it". I'm not so sure this is a good approach.

  • Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that I started a thread about cross dressing and it came out that I wore a frilly pink dress on the weekends with the cutest pink high heel pumps with a little rhinestone on the toe and then I got embarrassed because my wife was gonna find out, I should be, and rightfully so, would be allowed to have it removed.

A long standing rule at that.

Saw that once. Chronic heckler on another forum, ranted about long standing feud, threatened to quit posting & demanded all his posts be deleted. When modville posted that it was not possible poor dude blew a 60 amp fuse.

I think you have just identified 80% of all the people that have been involved with OT (at one point or another)..any Saturday night around 10:30-1:00
