Oklahoma Joes- the original on 47th and Mission. It's in a gas station...and on the top 13 places to eat before you die. Order a Z-Man, and a bag of fries, slaw, beans. Jack Stack would be my second choice. If you are into steak, Chop House or the Golden Ox, or Hereford House.
I like Arthur Bryants better than Gates. AB's is a real serious hole-in-the-wall, scary kind of place but the Q is really good. But 4 Rivers (especially new old location near Orlando) brisket is somewhat better IMHO. AB's ribs were good, the pulled pork ok, Gates... I am not a fan of their sauces.
