New Smyrna Surf

Forgot to post this from a few weeks ago. All these surf reports reminded me that I took the lady out to new smyrna for a relaxed day at the beach. Did pretty good. Got 2 of my biggest pomps and a nice sized whiting. Caught a bunch more whiting and blues but figured we had plenty for dinner. Arrived around 9:00am and fished for a few hours. The patrol guy on the atv was going up and down the beach and he said I was the only one catching anything. I get lucky sometimes I guess. BTW everything was caught on large sand fleas.



I told her what to look for and she was at the ready!!!
