Venison/Beef Pot Pie

2 lb venison/beef ground meat browned in one skillet.1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup celery,1 cup potato, 1 tbs minced garlic, 1/2 bunch chopped parsley, 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms sauteed in olive oil and 2 tbs butter in another skillet. add browned meat to veggies,but retain the juice. keep veggie mix simmering while making gravy with meat drippings by stirring in flour, beef stock and 1 tbs corn starch. make 3 cups of gravy, then add gravy and a pkg of frozen mixed veggies to the veg /meat mix. season to your taste and simmer for 15 min while getting 4 store bought pie crusts ready.(read instructions on crust package). pour mix into crust and cover with another crust. makes 2 pies. bake at 425 for 45 min. good cold weather food.

    Sounds good! I do a lot of wild game pot pies. And vary the ingredients with whatever is in the cubard. Peas,corn,green beans, etc etc etc. Once opened add some generous shakes of crystals hot sauce.
