Palm Valley Snook

Been seeing reports about snook in Palm Valley from various sources and happy to say we caught several small ones on Sunday. I'm hoping we have a mild winter and the populations can rebound. I'm relatively new to JAX ( 5 yrs) and don't have much history. Have we ever had a reliable snook fishery?

The quick response. No not really. Occasionally you'll see a snook post but they are rare and elusive in the NE region. To my experience anyway.

down in flagler we have a pretty good snook population in the southern part of the county if you go out and fish seawalls with topwater early morning you can usually catch 5 or 6 pretty decent ones up to 30 inches

Catch quite a few of them in the valley here and there, been catching quote a few lately also. Always heard of a lot up near d dot ranch in the Pablo creek area. Got a 20incher while trout fishing last week. But they're pretty elusive up here in jax. A lot down in the tomoka river area
