Headed out this AM excited about the 5-10knots of wind NOAA predicted. Well they were right for about 30 minutes. Made our way out quickly a little south of east and put in a spread of ballyhoo in 100'. Within minutes the wind picked up to a steady 15knots out of the NW. Made it a bit sloppy for the rest of the day.
Short version - Boxed 3 mahi, 8-10lbs, released some bonita and cudas. Missed 3-4 more mahi and a few mystery fish. Steady action most of the day but no signs of a wahoo that I was hoping for.
The ride in sucked with a strong cross wind. Cool + overcast + wind + wet...but hey, at least we got out and caught some fish.
Thanks to jason who pinged me from the forum for going. He was great help working the boat today.

aia - a light blue 25' Bluewater with hardtop. That's funny, I was hoping for a bite from either a sail or wahoo. We got the dolphin bites from 110-140' or so. Last week we had 2 wahoo both around 165', one was pushing 40#. Not bad!
JensRevenge - PM on the way.
PM me for my phone number if interested.
