Looking for a point in the right direction

Hey guys, I moved down to the Tampa Bay area about 3 years ago and fell in love with saltwater fishing and somewhat forgot about hunting. The itch is starting to come back though and I was wondering if anyone could let me know of any hunting clubs within 3 or 4 hours of Tampa under $1000 a year. I'm not worried about joining one right now but if anyone knows of one or is in one that might have an opening sometime this year that would be great. Would like to hunt some of these famous Osceolas down here but also would like to fill the rest of the year with some hog hunting and maybe a little deer hunting. Bow only clubs are good too being as I don't even own a rifle anymore. Any help would be really appreciated, thanks!

Check woods n water classifieds. Clubs will start needing members around April. There are a lot of clubs within 3-4 hours of Tampa. Most decent ones are more than a thousand dollars though. Look around,don't make a quick decission,find the right one. Also don't forget there are a lot of public lands locally.

Southbay hunt club has leases of @ 120 acres and generally run 950.00 a year.Most lots are up near Mayo Fl. Not the best deer hunting but there there and plenty of hogs.

Check out the WMA near you. Green swamp is not too far, Citrus, etc. Some good hunting and the price is right.

I would say for $1000 you are not going to get onto a piece of ground that is any better than the public available to you. But I could be wrong. Best of luck.

A litle farther maybe 1 or 2 hours and you can be in some good GA hunting. $1000 will get you into some pretty good clubs.
