Hey guys - just moved to Tampa this year and got a kayak a month or so ago. I'm looking for some new places to explore now that I can cover some water on the boat.
I target snook and reds, and since it's winter time I've been sticking to residential canals/brackish rivers near where I live (Rocky Point). Been doing pretty good on the reds, lots of small snook, too.
Any advice on similar places to explore for a new kayak guy around here?
Look on google maps and look for deep channels. If it ever gets cold fish will be in those. Dock are a greAt choice. What's your biggest fish so far?
