Some weeks ago, when CFB TV schedules were announced, my game tomorrow night was to be shown on ESPN3. So, I called my cable company (CNS) to verify.
"Yessir, right here on my schedule."
I was in their office just a couple days ago.
"What about my game?"
"Yessir, you got it. No charge!"
So tonight I planned a dry run, leaving nothing to chance. Tatered ESPN3. Up top read "Powered by CNS". I was in. Went to their schedule menu. Scrolled over to 7:30 PM, Sept. 1. "US Open Tennis".
I made the call. Young Hispanic girl took the call.
"I need to know about the Georgia Tech game tomorrow night!"
"That's Professional Football, right?"
I'll make a call tomorrow morning first. If that don't work, I'm kickin' some butt!!!

GT is one of my favorite non-FSU teams, and they have the best stadium in CFB.
I have been to a BUNCH of CFB stadiums and I could not agree more. I LOVE going to games their. :Rockon
Thanks, guys. Mighty kind. I don't know about the best, but it is indeed the oldest, and of course my fav. I will tell you this. The drive up the ridge overlooking the stadium at Duke with the Fall foliage in full color, is one of the prettiest drives ever. Can't say much for the stadium, though. Our dressing rooms were not much more than a tin shed!
1HOUR!!!

This young swarm of Jackets have honed their stingers. They seem a hungry bunch. It's called coaching. Few will stop them.
I should mention a few. I wrote a story about Julian. He had 8 tackles before the half. Then, Zack Laskey (what a name!), a true freshman. Tech was at the bottom of the list on punt returns last year. Zack broke one for 36 yards, and another for 28. Problem solved.
The obvious is, 28-0 in the first quarter with 4 first downs. Might I say "big play offense"? Naw, just the old triple option.
Finally, I should say, the juggernaut cometh.

I prolly shouldn't say much, but feel like I should say a little.

And according to ESPNs trivia question tonight, the oldest in Div 1.
1913.
That's not gonna be enough to get ya a lot of wins though.
I knew that.
Didn't know that MSU and Cincy had the number 2 and 3 oldest.
