8/30 SLI 3 Shark n cleaned lines

Made a late run out today with Brittany and Drew, cleared the inlet at 0730 bait was crashing just past the rocks on the south side, all horn bellies. Went down to bullshark, same deal hornbellies, went to Evans Crary seen "Miller Time" out there in his nice sportfisher, nothing really happening there either.

We head out to loran tower and dropped in some lines..nothing in 45 mins, packed up and went to Ernst reef, same deal nothing.

Went down to the Texas reef found a nice rip and dropped the hornbellies in. 20 mins later we pulled a little shark. And 2 more within the next 20 mins. We must of pulled up 5 lines with no bait left and 2 lines were missing the hooks!! 1 was wire leader !!

Packed it in and went to Five Guys for lunch ! Oh well can't catch em everytime! Besides the little lady wasn't feeling too good in the 2' chop (rookies ) hahaha

What was the water quality out there... clear/murky/blue/green/white>??? Could you see any bottom at BS or Texas? How bout out at Loran?

Marcus you got out that is always good. Too bad on the feeling bad, it happens some rosted peanuts may help. Weather is looking better I hope to get out soon.
