Vis is horrible. If you like diving in chocolate milk with less than a foot of vis then don't waste your time. Jellyfish are still everywhere, current was slow and the temps in the mid 80's
we went sunday with JDC Jupiter was 1 foot vis so the captain went to westpalm to get us some dives. turned a bad day in to a good one. thanks JDC and the beer run on the way home up the river was kick as...
Yeah went last week and actually wished I was at work for the first time the jellys were so bad and I wasnt wearing a wetsuit, so I got lit up like a christmas tree
With a few days of a south east wind the waters should clear up by next week. Time will tell especially with this other hurricane off the coast. Even if we avoid the hit as I'm sure we will there will still be a swell.
Thanks for the report Capt. Gerry.... yeah, we we went out last week it was horrible and couldn't hardly see much... Going out tomorrow and I'm hoping the viz will be better...
The water was awesome last weekend and the current was perfect.... Viz was great too! You can say it was towards the ocean side of Elliot and the jellyfish were way less... I was able to catch plenty of lobsters and shoot a few shots at some dogs and school master.... I'm going out tomorrow again but its suppose to be a bit choppy... I just hope the current will behave and the viz will be good...
I think I'll head out Monday and do a couple spec dives to see whats happening in the area. I was hoping to get out later in the week but the seas appear to be building. If there is a couple of hours of good weather I should be able to squeeze in a dive or two. I'll let you know how I make out.
