Anyone have a airmar B60 tilted element transducer installed in their boat??

Just wondering if anyone has this transducer installed. I'm getting ready to put one in for a furuno 620, and was wondering how the performance was. Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the input. How deep have you had it out too? I was told once you get past 600 feet or so you start to lose bottom. Thanks again.

The in hull/shoot thru works great. I've had it out swordifishing reading bottom out to 1800 feet but the majority of my fishing is inside 300 feet. We do some wreckfishing where we are trying to mark spots out to about 500 feet, but most of the time I just need to know the depth and I get that on my garmin machine with a little skimmer ducer on the transom so I'm sure the tilted element will work just fine, just trying to make a little more room in my bilge area for my livewell pumps. Thanks again for the help. Also how does that ducer mark when you're running? My thru hull will mark if it's calm but as soon as we get a little chop it's over until we stop.

I use one with my FCV 585 and see bottom through about 950-1050 feet while running. Calm days allow me to go a bit farther. When drifting, I can see up to 1800' or more. it was an easy install.
