Just wondering if anyone has this transducer installed. I'm getting ready to put one in for a furuno 620, and was wondering how the performance was. Thanks for any input.
I have 1 & just got a second for my new boat wrong size 12 deg & I need the 20 deg **** guess ill be selling it cheap its the universal model which is what I would get if it were me that way it ca be used with any unit just change the pitail.. Im running a b60 to a raymarine l760 & it reads bottom perfect great target discrimination it feels like im cheating.
ive been out to 180' with it no problem reading bottom cant help you past that my 18' cat has range limitaions of about 45 nm offshore cant quite reach the ledge from jacksonville. how did the inhull read for you im interested in it.
The in hull/shoot thru works great. I've had it out swordifishing reading bottom out to 1800 feet but the majority of my fishing is inside 300 feet. We do some wreckfishing where we are trying to mark spots out to about 500 feet, but most of the time I just need to know the depth and I get that on my garmin machine with a little skimmer ducer on the transom so I'm sure the tilted element will work just fine, just trying to make a little more room in my bilge area for my livewell pumps. Thanks again for the help. Also how does that ducer mark when you're running? My thru hull will mark if it's calm but as soon as we get a little chop it's over until we stop.
I use one with my FCV 585 and see bottom through about 950-1050 feet while running. Calm days allow me to go a bit farther. When drifting, I can see up to 1800' or more. it was an easy install.
