I'm kicking myself for not trying to make this sooner. It has to be one of the easiest and tastiest shrimp recipes there is. Forgive me for the cell phone pics. My camera finally kicked the bucket.
I got the recipe from combining all the top chefs on the internet. They were very similar with some adding cream or milk to the grits.
The best part is I had all the ingredients at home.
We've had a good Shrimp run in The St Johns the past couple weeks. My freezer is full of them.

Start with frying six strips of cut up bacon. Remove and add the peeled and deveined shrimp. When they're pink remove and add the diced yellow onion the the diced green pepper. Then the garlic and diced Datil.
I just cooked the grits separately adding cheddar and parmesan cheese and a little of the Datil.
I added the shrimp back to the onions and peppers and squeezed lime juice over the top. (they said lemmon)
Finally I put the grits in the bowl and spooned the shrimp and stuff over the top. I added the bacon and some chopped green onions at the end.
