What a mess Ireland has made

I was giving Ireland the benefit of the doubt this year since last year and this year he was handling the draft without Parcells. He has put together a team with no playmakers and role players only. Mike Wallace is not a #1 receiver. Look at what he gets paid compared to other receivers who are so much more productive than him. He needed an offensive lineman this year and did not take one. They got a rid of Reggie Bush and he is having a pro bowl year with Detroit. Tannehill was never clutch in college and doesn't seem to be now. (Although I hope he works out with a good offensive line) I could go on and on. The starting offensive lineman he took last year with their 2nd round pick is NOT good and now this.

Same old dolphins: However the defensive FA's they brought in have been Stellar! Had it not been for Grimes, more WRs would have had their way with the secondary. Ellerbe has also played very well in the action he has seen. You can't blame Ireland for the injury to Dustin Keller, which would have opened the offense quite a bit.

I'm a DIEHARD Steelers fan, and I for one was thrilled when someone else paid Wallace the big $$$ and not us. We let him go for a reason, the guy is a one trick pony but has done it VERY well. Don't blame Wallace (although he has dropped a ton of passes, brick hands this year) I'd blame the HC and OC for not utilizing him as much. He needs to be moved around, put him in motion, throw him in the slot, give him an end around, a bubble screen etc etc etc. USe the speed for more than just a situational deep thread which is EXACTLY what Sherman has done! He is either the deep option or a decoy, and DC's and DBs have caught on when watching film. This is not Irelands fault...trust me I watched Wallace every weekend for quite a few seasons and he is being under utilitzed. That is play calling! Not the GM!

What's up with the split of carries out of the backfield? Miller is the guy! Thomas is a bum, and a total bust. Miller needs 3/4 of the carries and let Thomas spell him...not a 50/50 time share. Again, not the GM's fault. Thomas was great at Kstate and is just a bust, the guy is a plodder, nothing to write home to mom about. If the OL could open up holes for Miller, then Thomas could be a decent change of pace back and is a great pass catcher out of the backfield.

    The offense lacks creativity.

Now, the OL....I agree 100% as a Steelers fan I can understand your pain. Luckily, Big Ben is mobile and has the ability ro run for his life. Tannehill? Not so much.

When y'all were 3-0 Ireland was a genius (790AM, 105.9FM, Joe Rose show etc etc etc) now that you're on the verge of 3-5...it's back to "fire ireland"

I definitely agree with not using Wallace correctly but he is not a #1 receiver. WAY too many drops and he gets paid ALOT. This was is knock with the analysts on most networks. Thomas has played well at times and was more effective than Miller at Buffalo who has a stouter Dline. Is a decent change of pace back. Just like Bush was not used correctly last year, other players are not this year as well. This makes me wonder about this coaching staff. Ireland's picks this year are barely contributing. The GM hires the coaches and picks the players. Starting to wonder about Thill as well. Looks good at times then makes a complete boneheaded play. Reminds me of Henne and Thill was never a superstar in college. Jonathan Martin has played poor to average. What's funny is reporters around the team and like Omar Kelly and Channing Crowder on 560 says this team is really about a 7-9 or 8-8 team. After they were 3-0, alot of fans I know said they are going to get figured out because their Oline is so bad and will start losing. And defensively, they are no better than last year in their overall ranking. Last year rushing defense was better, passing worse. This year its the opposite

Wallace is decent, but a serious mistake at $12m/yr.

Should've just held on to Devon Bess, Brandon Marshall and Wes Welker.

    Thanks Ireland (Bill Parcells)

Welker was a Cam and Randy screw up But Welker would not have been "Welker" with Cleo Lemon throwing to him that year
