How Much Stuff Can You Fit In A Small Bag?
As a land locked fisherman I need to carry lures and equipment with me while wading. Sometimes going back to the car to re-tie a lure or to get the pliers or the law stick is not an option. So what do you do? Carry a small bag with you to carry all the necessities! I carry a small bag approximately 11 inches long.
What do I have in it?
A waterproof plano tackle compartment (to keep the hooks on my lures from rusting)
A pair of old pliers
A pair of Scissors
A pocket knife (you never know)
My Fishing license
A Florida Sportsman Law Stick
A Bottle of Pro Cure
30 pound mono leader
15 pound Seaguar Fluorocarbon
A few jigheads
3 different types of paddletails
A few shrimp imitations
Some Jerkbaits
Suspending Lures
Topwater Lures
And a variety of spoons
Here it all is inside the bag
The law stick is a little long but it's definitely manageable. The adjustable strap can be adjusted to hang on your waist and all the way up to your chest/neck area if needed.
This bag is probably 10 dollars at a flee market or maybe even less. Either way it's a great way to wade in the water and go fishing with efficiency. :fishing

It's not the exact brand I carry but it is the same bag with the same specs. I've used it for many many years now and can carry all the hooks, and soft bait lure bags I could possibly need. Not to mention a stringer, pliers, and assorted small hard cases for lures, and extra line (or leaders). I've used it all over the country while wading, walking creek trails, and trekking the canals around here.
I wouldn't trade it for anything.
MY WORST FEAR......THAT WHEN I DIE MY WIFE WILL SELL ALL MY BOATS & FISHING GEAR FOR WHAT I TOLD HER I PAID FOR IT.......
I may not always agree with what you say,
but I will always respect your right to be wrong!
I don't actually use the measure on the bag depicted, I have the folding wooden rulers as you mentioned.
