Its been a while but I need some help.

Looking a pedal craft. Its either going to be the new slayer or outback. Tired of having hour paddle backs and not being able to fish at the same time or not getting offshore because I can not keep up. Opinions? For or against one or the other.

Look carefully at a Hobie Revolution. You can "keep up" with it.

Is there an actual question pending? What do you want to know?

I can't say for the Slayer, but the Outback is a nice fishing platform. With the 4 rod holders and roomy seating and trunk areas, its got all the space you should need. With turbo fins and a sailing rudder, its also decent in the speed department. The only reasons I would [personally] go with a Revolution over an Outback is (1) Its faster due to the bow's shape and hull design (2) the Outback suffers from Hull slap, which is much louder than I've experienced in the Revolution.

That wasn't there when I posted.

Anyways, Outback is a great platform, a little slower than the Revos, but more than enough speed for most folks. Love my outback, but will probably add a Revo to the "fleet" for going offshore or long distances
