after the topwater bite....

has turned off what do yall catch em on? i have had good luck on topwater but struggle to catch the redfish on anything afterthat. Maybe im not fishing in the correct depth or location. occasionally ill have a bite on a soft plastic or spoon but nothing consistent. Just wanted to see what everyone else was doing after the sun gets up. Im fishing St andrews bay btw

Try a mirrodine. It's just below the surface, and reds love 'em down south . . .

bounce a bucktail jig off the bottom tipped with piece of lizard fish or shrimp, but that's just me.

Try a gulp shrimp rigged carolina style. Will not work in heavy grass. In heavy grass try a popping cork with same gulp shrimp rigged shallow enough to get it out of the mentioned grass.

what depth do yall recommend fishing in after say 9 am? im new to these redfish and have no clue on what they do after they quit biting topwater. Do they stay in the shallows or migrate to deeper water?
