Did anyone head out of SLI today?

It was sporty but doable today for most. I did not head out, but am planning to do some 3rd Lung diving tomorrow. I am not worried about the weather, but the condition of the inlet is a big curiosity.
I am sure there will be others headed out in the morning, just wondering if I can learn a little about the new inlet conditions tonight instead of finding out first hand tomorrow.

Went to the boynton inlet today (not in the boat) and the seas looked real nice but, there was a good swell around 4-5 feet. They kept crashing at the mouth of the inlet. Saw a dive boat go out and he burried the bow a couple times and had a hard time getting out. But he did it. Saw a fishing boat try to go out but he turned around. It looks fishable if you can get by the swell's. Don't know about SLI. Be safe if you do.

We made it out today. I ran the inlet as marked and the shallowest I saw was just shy of 7ft, and my transducer is probably 18" under water. I am going to say you have 8 ft if you stay in the channel. It was not nearly as bad as I was expecting but if my memory serves me correctly, which it may not as I just turned 40, the bottom has shifted since the storm.
We headed out to Peck's lake for some 3rd Lung diving and visability ranged from Pea soup to maybe iced tea. I don't think it was ever greater than 10 ft. Did see 2 large Galiath Groper and managed 1 FL spiney lobster, and 2 Spanish. The Spanish were the leargest ones I have ever seen. Not a great day of diving but was a gorgeous day on the water, so all good.
