state vs conference

which is more of an allegiance to you, your state or your conference
to me it's the state of Fla. if the GATORS as are playing anyone, then i want them to win, but if they are not in the game then i want the state team to win regardless of conference
for example if fsu plays 'bama I want the 'miles to win because they are the Fla. team

Depends.

I root for state teams to always win, except for FSU, and except against SEC teams.

Plus, that can all change if I have a bet...

I root for all the state schools to win except for FSU and Miami.

I'd rather beat an in state rival when they're on top as opposed to on the bottom. I'll root for UM until we play them, then all bets are off. I'm kind of selfish in rooting for UM so that they're undefeated, ranked as high as possible for when we get the chance to play them.

I'd always prefer in state rivalries to have big implications, as opposed to just stomping UM as we have done recently.

I'm sure the UF fans can agree, beating FSU is always nice for a UF fan but was it really that fun when we were 7-6 every year? I prefer two good teams = a good game.

It makes no difference to me where FSU is ranked or what their record is when UF beats them, it always puts a smile on my face.
