Got to the North Skyway at 0345, it was windy, with just a few fisher-people soaking bait. I started using cut bait and got a big lady, 7 or 8 grunts, a lane, and 4 small mangos before sunup. A girl in the far corner got 5 mangos. At sun rise it was jacks for about an hour with a bonito coming over the side. I watched a tarpon inhale my greenback on a popper and snap my #20 test with ease. It was cool to see it roll right beneath me. After the morning run it slowed with a weak out going. I saw 3 spanish come over in an hour with a lot of jigging. Didn't keep anything but had a fun pulling stuff in.
