That boundary discussion got heated elsewhere but logic prevailed in the end... Our tourney is based on what the bulk of the boats want not just one...
Icon coolers has indicated that he wants to sponsor at some level. Just not sure if he's going to enter a team or not at this point.
The flood gates have opened it seems. I wasn't kidding about not waiting. I just got of phone with office. Our big sled slips are about SOLD OUT! We MAY have a couple left inside but can no longer guarantee or even offer outside T. Also got word that we are nearly out of rooms. 7 left at this point shouldn't last long (only 3 or 4 boats at best). We do still have a fair amount of small boat slips but they are going fast as well. Message me if you don't get locked into the club and in a bind and I'll find out who has what space available.
Looks like yesterdays update disappeared. Wasn't important any way. Signed boat today coming all the way from South Carolina... Its rockin an rollin... I think I'll be at the show tomorrow. Performing a wedding on Saturday. Sunday and Monday gotta tend to some medical issues so I'll be in short supply for a few days. Still if you need me just drop me a message. I'll find it somehow...
Ray, I'm pretty sure we are going to run out like we always do but trying to organize a second printing as I have litterally a hundred requests... I'll keep you in the know...
Yes they did... They got in right before we started getting swamped. Office is behind on letting me know whos in but Annie is definately in. Its kind of fun "helping" the office find who's in. Especially since they are the ones who get the electronic sign ups directly.
We've had a couple boats having trouble getting through on the site sign up lonk. most are going through just fine but a couple are not. If you think you might be one whos sign up didn't go through, call the island directly... 1-800-867-4764
Flying out tomorrow am to fish on the Annie for 2 days and my boat will be over on Friday and will fish for the next 3 days on that. I will post info on the bite... My buddies caught 10 off CAT this past Saturday fishing the am tide.... Peace out!

Starting the big run around gathering stuff... Already had van kinda full then got to Gray Taxidermy to pick up the trophies. Pretty sure the one who packed up the box must be related to my wife packing for a weekend trip. I had to unbolt the middle seat in the van (back seat already folded down) and push the front seats all the way forward to get the box to fit. Tomorrow is another van full including high tech bean bag chairs I need to pick up on the west coast... Management thinks they are gonna get all this to fit on a sea plane? Yeah Right! Looks like I gotta get crative and repack all the stuff or find a big boat to bring it over...
Everybody listen up! The weather last week knocked communications to the island down a peg. Hard to get through. IF you need to sign up or make reservations please email the boss lady at: [email protected]
I will be across state all day into the eve picking up more great prizes!
Prizes picked...
We will have at least one television show filming on site at captains meeting, weigh in, and probably awards too. If you don't want to be filmed please let me know...
Spent most of morn at Canyongear. They have been platinum sponsor since the start. Their head man I discussed a problem we both experienced last year that was not sitting well with him. All of the boats that won received a custom set of their first class custom wahoo lures. One of them turned around and put it on another site for sale at one fifth of its value. Yes its the winner's to do with as they please but that is pretty friggin insulting. Hell why didn't they ask me? I would have gladly gave em that little bit of cash and saved the set for somebody who appreciates the product and the thought and work that went into it. Yesterday and early today we pieced together more custom sets similar to last years then the brakes went on. We sat them aside and started all over on a new direction with some major league fishing bling. If you win it and don't want it I'll gladly dig in my pocket and give you one fifth of its value in cash!
Tim at Canyongear worked hard and long on making some real pieces of art for this event and I have them in hand. What he asked was if you win some of his items and don't want them, please return and he will custom build you anything you want of comparable value. He has head shape/colors and skirt colors to match litterally any bait out there and will do it in custom bullet proof urethane.
Team "Makin It Happen" has started his practice and patterning early. Despite stiff wind the bank had it blocked and he ran his 32' into a good lookin stack of fish...

Yes RW came on big with sponsorship, adding boats and helping us out with rooms...
They are also stepping to the plate for free transport back and forth between the two venues. Say what you will, thats pretty nice of them and shows they DO recognize the rest of Bimini as something to help when they can...

Your responsibility Paul is to put on a great event, make sure your guests have rooms, slips and everything they need. Not to get invloved in the politics crap. If RW steps up so be it...
Exactly... My job is to put on a world class event and thats what I'm doing. We ran out of space and needed more. We got it. The teams deserve a round of applause as well for stepping to the plate today to help out with toting stuff over. My boat can't fit another thing on it and they came to the rescue. We don't lose sight of how important all involved are along the way. The teams we got are the best kind of people and they deserve my putting 110% into this as well...
