Disable Auto Retract

I have the Electronic Indicator Control (EIC) (miscommunication on the build) and it looks like the auto retract is built in to that system. I really do not want the tabs resetting on every drift when I have to dial them in again a few minutes later. I wanted the indicator so I know where the tabs are at the start of the run upcurrent but since they tabs reset to zero the indicator isn't as much use to me. Is there a way to disconnect the auto retract from the EIC system?

It is quite easy to disable the Auto Retract. There is a purple 22 gauge wire that goes to the display/switch. It is the "trigger" for the auto retract, simply disconnect it from the boat and the Tabs will no longer retract when the ignition is switched off.

It took me a while to get around to it but finally disconnected the purple wire from the harness and things are all manual now which is perfect for me. Thanks again Tabman!
