  • Paul, nice pics of fish, but last week Chips Ahoy had a 135# YFT in 175 right in front of Boynton Inlet!
Beat that trip for fuel savings!!!

Ron can they do that on a regular basis? Like almost every time they try? And rack up double digits on many of the trips? And toss in some big eyes pushing 200-300 pounds? :)

    Only bustin on ya...

Laying out my hunting gear for later trip back up here and packing my other fishing stuff up for the ride home...

Yes I am smart enough to realize that the fishery up N is good and can be downright exceptional. Just defending the turf a little:)
I think Venice could give us both a run for our money
  • Paul, you are right, nothing like the Northeast tuna action!

And that sword was icing on the cake!

Not if you're wearing pinstripes. Otherwise, I believe it could be...

If you are referring to the baseball team that plays in the Bronx, they are referred to as the Yank-me's.:grin

My tags are PA, Jersey just a summer place.

What is a 'true Floridian'? Are you a Native American? Which tribe?

Ray... Just call me BLAS... But ya gotta admit Ft. Pierce marks the edge of the artic circle... :)

Brian... I can vouch for him. He drove a Rybovitch for a zillion years. Florida does run deep in his veins...

I finished up my fishing just a few minutes ago. Tried the bottom of the suds and found only a sea robin. Came home to three does and six fawns at the end of my driveway sticking their tongues out at me. I'll take care of them next trip. Now gotta fire up the forklift to stack my meat in the car for my ride home.

    .

Is Rybovitch a cheap knockoff of Rybovich? I wanna know what he was driving when he took Ponce de Leon to the fountain of youth.:grin

Snooky... You need to expand your horizons some. I mean we have people run fifty miles from Miami to Bimini to go catch yellow tails or yellow eyes that they have in their back yard. How much of a run is it from Miami to the channel in hopes that you may or may not find a couple mid class yft? Kind of the same in Jersey except the odds are in your favor that you will load the boat. White and Blue marlin in season up north are thicker than anywhere in the islands. No customs fees, fuel is half the price. I'm Florida and islands as well but I keep an open mind and fish is fish... :)

I know the fishing is good up that way Pauly...i just enjoy feeshing in boardshorts!!! Like Doug said...Venice, La is a pretty sick fishery that has it all, inshore and offshore, can't beat that. I don't have deep enough pockets to fish the wahoo tourny's but i'll see ya around the docks at BG if your around. We are planning to head over for wahoo on Columbus day weekend...you gonna be there then?

Back in Florida and head spinning from emails and what not. Corporate is pushing up deadline dates on me to get sponsors in a row. Don't know why they decided that it would be a good idea to push people who are helping us but not my call... That and no movement at this point getting closer to a permit and two boats I need to get back to maintaining I don't have a clue what I'm doing tomorrow much less a couple weeks from now.

Hot and sticky but five good hours on the boat has things shaping up for this side...
