My best friend

My best friend David passed away from cancer 4 yrs ago. He was my mentor and fishing partner. Many offshore days on his 25 C Hawk. He brought me to Christ. I am richer for having him be apart of my life. It's been four years. I finally bought another boat am fishing again, just could not bring myself to do it until now. He was a mans man, as tough as nails with a smile for everyone he met. Loved to fish and dive. Whether it was trout or Warsaw, he had caught or shot it all, he will be missed. Smooth seas David, I will bend a rod for you...........

I've always thought that the best eulogy for a friend is to say 'I am a better/richer person because I knew him'.
