2007 Lake & Bay Backwater 20

I've decided to list my boat and see what happens. The link below shows all of the options as well as all of the recent repairs (fiberglass, wiring, etc) that occurred within the last year. The motor has ~335 hours and runs like a champ. I have spent over $45k getting the boat in the condition that it is in right now. It is located in Steinhatchee and the price is $35k. I loved that boat when I first saw you post about it and I still do. You getting something else? Coming back to join the Gheenoe club?

Those old batteries out of it are still going strong.

Jim, if the boat sells and believe me, it won't upset me if it doesn't, I will probably buy an Egret that I can keep in my garage. Having to store the boat at the coast limits the places I can fish, which kind of stinks. I have thought about another Gheenoe as a small boat for winter fishing. It is hard to beat something that is 100 pounds and can go just about everywhere.

Nick, glad to hear the batteries are still working! Have you been catching any fish?

Hard to beat, and you can get a Gheenoe cheap and it costs nothing to operate and can be towed with anything! I hear you on having to store the boat at a marina, kinda limits you!

You can always buy a different trailer with removable tongue for your Backwater (great boat). FYI- we compared my 18.9 to a Backwater and they were virtually identical overall length due to the Egret's 360 degree overhanging deck. I have a custom Rolls Axle that is barely longer than the bow to allow backing straight into my garage in EGC.
