UNREAL Inshore Bite!! 8/14-8/18

The past couple of days have yielded the best inshore fishing I have experienced in the 2 years I've lived here, considering quality and quantity. Big snook, big redfish, big trout and big jacks in shallow water! We did venture up to Sebastian Inlet one night and crushed the big redfish and snook on topwater. Last night, dad caught his personal best red at 30" and probably shouldn't of been landed. He casted over me, accidentally of course, and our lines snagged. As we reel in, he hooks up! Long story short, we had to cut the tangled mess of lines and Dad hand lined in the 30" beast! He had to jump in after a 35" snook and untangle it out of the dense mangroves this morning. It has been an absolutely insane few days. When the sun is up we have been using suspending lures, but when the sun is low, topwater has been killer on the flats or on the deeper edges of the flats. All fish were caught on Unfair Lures, the last 2 days, all on prototype lures. Great way to end a great summer!

*I know, some of the pics are from boat, but most on foot.
