So we loaded up my buddy's 38' Sea Hunter last Friday at noon, ready for an overnighter in 180' then before dawn Saturday on out to 220'-240'. We managed to pick off a few fish on the way out, nothing crazy, our tide was weak but the slick seas was too good to pass up. The next day was a lot of fun, especially after coming across acres of muttons. We landed about 12 nice ones then had a battery problem, and decided to cut it short. 3 hours later we were at the dock. I'll admit even though my diesel inboard is unmatched comfort, speed is sweet !!! Next time we go it's going to be nutty... for sure.
