Guys, please take lots of pictures during this tourney. Maybe we can get FS to change the ones on this sight, tired of looking at the bearded guy and the young kid.
How many teams do you think will get scared and back out?
We never know, but it will be what it will be. Working hard to create an event that is what you all want it to be. If there is interest in a consistent event, it could get real interesting in the coming years to create a "first" of its kind event. With sponsors starting to come on board including FS jumping into the mix, it is going to be a good time fishing, getting together, and meeting some new folks.
I just hope the fishing is better in two weeks than it was this past weekend!! Tough. I would post a report, but I think it would have been the weakest catching report of all time on FS. It got so tough for me with high and dirty water that I went and started working the boundary markers in my tunnel hull. Had fun fishing with Flatwater and my dad even with the tough conditions.
Im just trash talking. It would be nice if all the teams showed. I'm in it for the fun of it and putting names to faces I never fish tournaments. Last year was great despite the weather I had a great day of fishing. Hope to see all the teams there. I might be fishing with Robert DeNiro (if he calls me back) if not it will be Tony Danza's third cousin. My ex-girlfriend Angelina Jolie told me nobody likes a name dropper
First off Bob, that photo you are referring is NOT of me. It is of my dad. You will never see me high and dry like that. Just ask Jack if it is even possible. He saw first hand the other day what my boat can do.
My dad, like Common Ground, does not know the simple fact of when someone says stay south of Turtle Key at all cost, they mean it.
We started a sign up section for all the "Scared" teams which is for those that would like to play, but can't find their big boy pants. Common Ground, I can add you to this list if that helps any? OR you in with skin?
Yes, Adam's tunnel boat is only riviled by an airboat. Even w/ 500+lbs. of anglers.
If the wading bird's toes are wet= good to go.
Common Ground- You can always use the Rod & Gun ramp, on Barron River, same price--deep everywhere.
We are fishing the new moon so tides will be higher/lower than usual.
Flatwater - thanks for the Rod & Gun ramp tip. I haven't used that ramp in a number of years. Last time I went there the "crazy lady" that took my $20 inside said I didn't need a receipt but then when she came outside to unlock the ramp 10 MINUTES LATER she asked if I had already paid because she didn't recognize me. So In fairness, I probably should at least be added to the Rod & Gun Club scared list. But maybe I will give it a try again.
On extreme tides I come and go from there
Yes, always get the receipt because who knows who'll be there when
you come back.
Same w/ Kenny. Receipt sticky is put on the windshield
