What are you guys/girls using

I have have been happy with the results

i use this on my roofs, fences, garage doors etc etc

Here's what I have been using recently

4000psi 4gpm pressure washer
Foam Lance

for small areas
Gilmour-75QGFMR-Foamaster-Sprayer



TSP
WATER
Bleach generic (cheapest laundry)
Dawn Dish soap

I use the lance because more fat guys (like me) die falling off roofs an ladders every year.

i gingerly use the tsp TSP will etch and or damage windows if you use to high a ratio


Borax bleach works to kill mildew an mold as well

do not rinse let mother nature rinse it

Your going to ruin your roof and screen enclosure using bleach. On the screen just use water and rinse every square inch inside and out. I have a pressure washing business and we use high volume machines, so I can clean with medium to low pressure in a 3' swipe. As for the roof, bleach or chlorine work best but I would NOT leave it on there after the mildew / stains disappear. Rinse it good with no pressure. The high Ph will deteriorate the shingle.

Soffit & gutters are fine. Screen s get ate up and does the rubber spline holding it in place.

Ill disagree with one part of what you said. If you leave the chlorine sit it will ruin a lot of things. Rinse rinse rinse.
The screens need to be cleaned from both sides. The roof, well...your best leaving that to someone hat does it for a living. Tsp, peroxide..that's all junk. All commercial pressure washin and roof cleaning companies use the same stuff and fill up at the same places. Regardless of what they tell you, or what they add to it to make it smell like citrus. It's all chlorine. The devil is in the details...whichbthebdetails are the dilution ratio and the experience behind the operator on how to use it best.

Oh, you mean Trisodium Phsphate? Painters tool cleaner, or for me, orchid tools disinfectant. It will strip the oils off yer hand faster than a slippery dick off the hook....

It takes forever to get that crap off. I can imagine the rinsing you have to do afterwards... :rolleyes

Don't laugh too hard, but living on the water, I must pressure clean my home at least three times a year. I have found for most grime and normal dirt, that car wash works well. I am about to try it on my aluminum cover for my porch. I guess if you buy the better stuff it leaves a nano layer of wax on it. The guy who installed the cover said never to just clean and leave it. Always, dry all the excess moister off the aluminum to keep from building up a layer of calcium, I guess, which eventually will make it harder and harder to clean.
