BB Wahoo X 2 7/29/13

If your not fishing every chance you have right now, your missing a great bite!

Clear the inlet around 0630, first wahoo in the boat by 0705. Missed another hit on the wire about 20 minutes after that. Around 0800 the wire is singing good. Second wahoo in the boat before 0830.

I don't think we ever made it more the 2 miles away from the inlet. There was plenty of storms to our east which kept us close. Both wahoo were in about 250 feet.

Thanks everyone. We were not HST. We were trolling between 7 and 10 MPH. It was a very active Wahoo morning. 4 hits on the wire line in less than 4 hours. The last one hit the trolling weight and took everything with him, which ended our day.

WOW.. great job.. 2 slob hoo's in the box and quickly.

2 miles from the inlet???? 250 feet????

You must have been down south..

SLI, you would have to be 10 to 12 miles offshore to hit depths like that.

His "BB" indicates Boynton Beach inlet I presume, it's about 500' at the 3 mile line there, IJS.
