northstar 6000i

I would like to know if the florida sportsmen fish and chip will work on the northstar 6000i? i just bought a place in big pine key and i am trying to find areas that are productive? any help i will appreciate it. I have the navionics chip but it really doeant mark wrecks or rocky areas

Hi Ashley-

We no longer make/sell the fishnchip products. That has been replaced by a new and improved layer of data called SonarCharts that is an included layer on both Platinum charts and the new Navionics+ products. It uses both proprietary data, as well as incorporating user-supplied sonar recordings as well.

The Northstar 6000i unfortunately does not have the necessary supporting software to switch between the nautical charts and the SonarCharts the way the 6100i can.

It will, however, run the Navionics+ and will allow you to receive our latest charting and Freshest Data updates.
