Thanks for all the concerns about the crew, boat and ol' sting all safe and sound. Getting ready for next weeks trips, did someone say gag grouper is open :huh it should be fun.
Yes but not on the big pond. On friday when i made the post it still looked fishable but by friday night things went south. I would never put any of my crew in danger so late i pulled the plug on the boat and let it sink. I still do get caught offshore in some not idea conditions but as the captain know when it time to call it quits.
Don't like these days when it changes quickly while 40 miles off the hill but it happens sometimes
Tonight's dinner for my wife and the ol' sting; grouper throat's,b-liners and red snapper.
Heading down south for a little fishing next week. Maybe we can find some fish that are willing to chew after this long period of storms.

A wade fisherman is the most simplistic but the most adept for the quarry they are after. They are immersed in their challenger's habitat and are in tune with the subtle changes of current, temperature and bottom. In order to be successful at this noble and primal fishing form one must be submerged from their goobs to their boobs, anyone doing this outside of that boundary is either sunbathing or swimming. Sting! can you hear me?
Hope it went well and all are safe!
Not sure if he went or not. He said he was and I thought about it all day yesterday.
I did too while sitting on the beach yesterday afternoon looking out into the Gulf......glad I wasn't out there!
