Tell me about those float trips down the Snake.

Haven't done the Snake ...yet. I am going to say that the trip that is on my bucket list above the Snake float is a Salmon River float through the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Snake holds bass, Salmon trout. I am trying to find the time to do a summer run steelhead trip to the Clearwater this year.

Probably neither going to happen this year as the mountains will be ablaze this summer. Lower than normal snows will have the hills WAY drier than normal. Coupla years ago we had a smoke stench for a month in Boise.....down in the valley. Many feel that this summer will be epic.....with less federal money to fight fires (sequester).
