Pompano Arm Pump 6/27

Nothing picture worthy but plenty of action. Caught 7 or 8 bonita all between 15-20lbs. There were some real bruisers out there today. Had a double header at one point, that was frustrating and tiring. Also managed 2 AJs around 15 lbs and an almaco. There was a nice line of scattered weeds, mats and a good rip in 200' but no dolphin or action in the area. Not for me at least. Went as far as 300' trying to find a color change, but it was all green water. The sea was a light chop and really laid down by the time I was getting off the water. Current was smoking south to north, at one point Navionics said I was drifting 2.5 kts. Between fishing and the paddle back in I got one heck of a core and shoulder workout. Saw a couple guys out there, not sure who but I'd like to know how you guys made out. Tight lines.
