Of course. I leave town (work) this Sunday and come home Friday. Just in time for the wind maker to kick back into full effect. Think it may be time to sell the boat, but first I need to make a deal with a bunch of you. If I sell my boat and the weather gets better I want assured spots on others boats.... I figure you are benefiting by my selling mine so I should get something out of it.
Just how my luck seems to roll this year.
Well... next week is still a week away. The accuracy of a 7th-day forecast is low. Usually need to get within 3 days to start trusting the forecast. So by Wednesday next week (6/5) we'll have a better idea of what that weekend will be like. So, nobody go canceling your plans just yet! I've still got my fingers crossed.
Since I have a dog in this fight too, I'll try to keep this thread/forecast updated daily.
Meanwhile, on the little fiberglass boat Uncle Buck...
Hmmm... Whatever that thing is, it's quickly advancing in the forecast. There's hope for us folks heading over during the weekend. Won't be a smooth ride, but better than yesterday's forecast.

Seems like the forecast is averaging out a bit over several days, rather than having that 2-day spike. Again... it won't be a smooth ride over, but not intolerable. Those short wave periods are going to be the annoying part, but the Gulfstream should smooth out a little with the south winds. Anyone returning to FL Sunday/Monday should have a nice ride.

Hey Bill, thanks for the forecast! A mutual friend has his boat sitting at Harbour Island, and was planning on getting it this weekend. I need to get out there and whack some tunas.
Uncle Buck is giving it to you straight! Doesn't mean we are not tempted to "shoot the messenger" :grin :machinegun
Buoy Weather has proven to be more reliable than NOAA and other forecasting services.
Costs me $15 a month, but like being ableto click on the stream, or Bahamas and compare weather here and other side.

absolutely. Being able to get tailored forecasts for stream, channel, corner etc that have been way more accurate than NOAA is well-worth the money.
Eric! Do yourself a favor and pay $80 for the yearly subscription! $15 per month is costing you $180 per year.
Hey Bull, I don't like the forecast either. But this messenger will be getting wet along with everyone else who's going over. :grin
Doh, thanks UB, you just saved me $100 over next year. (I owe you one) :angel

No doubt. Yesterday's forecast for thursday was 1ft seas. Hoping to get over next weekend, we'll see.
As long as you leave on 12. If you go on 30 we'd love an immediate right turn. :grin
