Lifeless north irl

fished north of rr causeway/scottsmoor/blackpoint/camp72/east and west sides in irl 3-4 times in past 2 weeks with not a fish caught-not even a strike/miss.
no tails. no spooked skools seen. no skooling bait. very dark water. Was catching some reds and trout up till the brown bloom.
went once into mosquito also at WSEG. looked same as irl with no catch. dark water. lifeless.shallow.nasty.smelly.

Brown algae has just put a stop on catching fish for me.

It was clear last weekend around NASA Causeway, I don't know if conditions degraded over the week.

I was up north from garden st to Turnbull and all the back around and also found nothing but disappointment. Nasty brown water is making a comeback already. Black point was the worst, but granny cove area and dummit didn't look to horrible "yet"

Sad to say....this is how our lagoon will die....with a whimper and not a bang. The discolored water will prevent photosynthesis....

not necessarily. photosynthesis could very well increase as the "blockage of light" is brown algae, a plant. Also visible light penetrates further than we might think.
was out yesterday and the new grass growth was so thick that I couldn't run the trolling motor. long, green, thick, new, fast growing seagrass.
