Village of North Palm Beach Kayak Fishing Tournament - Aug 17, 2013

Come check out The village of North Palm Beach's kayak fishing tournament. It will be an inshore catch/photo/release tournament with redfish, snook, trout and sheepshead the targeted species. The event will be held Aug 17th at Anchorage Park in North Palm Beach. It will be a great family event with prizes, food, music and use of the swimming pool. There will also be a free kids fishing tournament at the park. Registration form is linked below. Rules and prize list coming soon.

    There are no boundaries you can fish anywhere you like...but there are reds in the area just not many. This is also the reason for 4 eligible species. You will only be able to enter 3 of the 4 species for the total combined length category.

    I'm definitely down for this, any idea on the number of possible kayak entrants Nelbag? I saw something like 50 on the website but it didn't seem like that was specific to the kayak division

    Would love to fish this but it's so hard for me to make the " Mandatory participants meetings " on Friday nights on these types of events because of my work schedule.. But I'll keep an eye on this.

    As much as I was hoping I would be able to pull this off, I won't be able to make it.
    This will be the last weekend with our daughter before she heads to UT for her first week of college, and the wife has plans for the family this weekend.

    Hope this is a success for North Palm........good work Brian!
